Assembly

Putting this aquarium together was like assembling a giant puzzle! The directions that came with this setup left a lot to be desired. (For a beginner like me.) However, I must admit that the person who helped me through the whole process at Tenecor was very nice and helpful. Then there was the fish-feeding hole...

Sump and Skimmer
I had the sump in backwards at first,
and had to take it out and reattach it the other way.

They centered the fish-feeding hole in the top of the canopy lid and when I went to install the two Power Compact light tubes side by side, they covered the hole, making it useless.
Instead of watching $133.00 go down the drain, I set up the lights end to end so I could use the feeding hole.

Lights installed end to end.
One of the lights was Daylight and the other was Actinic Blue,
so you can imagine what it looked like when I turned them on!

So then, I had to buy two 50/50 Daylight/Actinic light tubes, which cost another $66.00!

Murphy's Law.
All in all, it was a good learning experience.
