DELIVERY DAY!

The long awaited day has arrived! July 23, 2002.
It is 98 degrees out and very humid, but the truck driver
(a nice man with a Chzechoslovakian accent) was undaunted!
He helped my husband carry the base into the house.
Click on the small pictures to see the large version.

This is the base, it weighs about a bazillion pounds. Made by Tenecor.
Visit their website, they just redesigned the whole thing:

This is the canopy that sits on top of the aquarium. It's also very heavy! It has a hinged lid and a small opening with cover to put food in for the fish.
Here's the whole kit'n kaboodle in pieces on my living room floor. At this point, I have no clue how to put this assortment of oddities together to make an aquarium.
This is the hutch I have to move to make room for the aquarium. (Who needs dishes anyway?)
I'm going to keep this 15 gallon tank here for use as a quarantine tank while I stock the 55 gallon.
